Membership growth chairpersons are elected to every Lions club, every district and every multiple of Lions Clubs International. Membership growth chairpersons oversee membership growth and the invitation of new members.

General responsibilties of each chairperson include the following:

• planning, promoting and implementing membership growth programs
• conducting membership growth workshops
• writing articles on membership growth for district or multiple district publications
• encouraging clubs to invite new members

Lions Worldwide Induction Day welcomes new members and fosters club awareness.
